The Challenge
The owner wanted a complete repositioning of the property, from dining room and bar to spa and the adjoining Shoppes, without losing the character of the building. Aging systems hidden behind finishes, long lead hospitality FF&E, and a firm opening target left little room for surprises.
Our Approach
M2S led general contracting and construction management together. We sequenced work zone by zone, opened walls early to surface conditions before finishes were ordered, locked procurement for lighting, millwork, and fixtures against the schedule, and held daily field coordination so trades never stacked in the same space.
The Outcome
The hotel reopened with fully renovated dining, bar, spa, and retail spaces that read as one cohesive property. The owner received a closed out punch list, warranty documentation, and operating manuals at handoff, with every change tracked against the original budget.
